PART-TIME PEOPLE
Full time jobs can be monotonous, that's why they call it a “grind”. This is completely understandable because you just want to live your life freely. Everybody does. But we work, that's what we do. However, it's how you carry yourself from moment to moment, day to day. Going to the same job everyday is hard enough but many people make it much more difficult for themselves because there is this insistent background noise of not enough time to live, the weekends are too short. That's a rabbit hole that is so easy to go down because you have people who are willing to join you there. It's a common infliction. This attitude is suffocating and I cannot join them there. It's amazing what happens through appreciation of what is. A beautiful day coming upon with the sun shining, even if it's cloudy. The forces it took to allow that to happen, working behind the scenes. It's simply amazing. We are so abundant but yet focused so finitely upon those two days at the end of the week. Unless one works these days but most likely has some time off from their job. Friday comes and it's “happy”, but they days leading up to it are not. And then Monday comes and the misery starts all over again. They complain the weekend was too short. I get it. It is what it is. But this is what insanity is, doing or perceiving something the same way and expecting different results. The bottom line is people suffer at their jobs and make it harder than it actually is because they give attention to their limited perception of time. It's a shortage non abundant perception. If they won the lottery then they would be free, or if they could retire then they would be free. It doesn't work this way. The law of attraction is accurate. It's the biggest law in creation. Whatever is likened to itself is drawn, and whatever you give your attention to consistently you will get. It takes a focused individual to break this cycle within. But how do you do this when most people around you are suffering this way? You care about how you feel. It really is as simple as that, but it also takes practice and consistent attention to other thoughts that produce better feelings. Meditation and stillness is the key, along with appreciation whenever possible throughout the day breaks this habitual mental cycle. Over time you get different results. This is your life! Why waste it waiting for two days of the week to live.
