Muriel Shickman’s music career began at age 16. She composed and performed music in several bands on various instruments, including bass guitar, drums/percussion, and keyboards. Muriel released her first solo album in 1999, which was quickly followed by her albums “One Voice” (2000), “Return to Zero” (2001), “Mixed Emotions” (2003), & “Dream Time” (2004). In 2005, she returned to school and graduated in 2009 with a Natural Resource Technology degree. Shortly after, she released her latest album “The Farther Shore” (2010). Muriel’s music is inspirational and thought provoking. She tirelessly dedicates her time to social and environmental causes, and seeks to inspire positive change in the world. Muriel is currently working as an intern for sound healing and other healing modalities.
